DR JOSEPHINE ONG
MBBS
Dr Ong has been in general practice for over 40 years and is the founder and principal doctor at SSMC. Dr Ong is arguably one of the most popular doctrs in Springvale. She enjoys the variety of general practice and getting to know her patients. Her special interests include antenatal (shared care), women’s health, chronic disease management and geriatric medicine. Dr Ong speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese fluently.
DR KIM NGUYEN
BBMedSci, MBBS, FRACGP
Kim is an experienced GP and a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He has clinical experience in all aspects of general practice with a special interest in child and adolescent health. He is able to provide procedural services including Implanon insertion/removal and iron infusions.
Outside of work he enjoys rock climbing and playing tennis. Kim is fluent in both English and Vietnamese.
DR MELINDA LUN
MBBS, FRACGP
Melinda is an experienced GP and Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. Melinda enjoys all areas of general practice especially women's health, paediatrics and mental health. Melinda also has a special interest in dermatology and skin cancer and provides anti-wrinkle injections. She has a Certificate in Practical Dermoscopy from the Australasian College of Dermatologists and the Professional Certificate of Aesthetic Medicine.
Melinda is trained in Implanon insertion and removal and also skilled in the removal of cysts and other skin lesions.
Outside of work she keeps herself busy looking after her two young children and enjoys rock climbing, yoga/ pilates, skiing and mountain biking. Melinda is fluent in both English and Cantonese.
DR DILAN RANASINGHE
MBBS, FRACGP, Dip Child Health
Dilan started working in General Practice in 2014 and has recently joined Springvale South Medical Centre. He has a special interest in all areas of general practice, including weight loss management, women's health, chronic disease management, men's health, minor surgical procedures, skin checks and particularly children's health, where he holds a Diploma in Children's Health.
Dr Ranasinghe enjoys providing holistic care and ensuring there is adequate time spent with patients.
Outside of work, Dr Ranasinghe enjoys gardening and swimming. Dilan is fluent in both English and Singhalese,
DR ANITA NESARAJAH
MBBS, FRACGP
Anita is an experienced GP and Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners. She enjoys all aspects of General Practice and believes in working collaboratively with patients to achieve a good outcome in regards to their health and well being. She is empathetic, non judgemental and compassionate. She has over 10 years of experience working in Malaysia as a doctor before moving to Australia in 2012.
She has a keen interests in
Sexual Health and holds the FPAA National Certificate in Reproductive and Sexual Health from Family Planning Victoria.
Anita is trained in Implanon insertion and removal and Prep prescribing.
Anita is also interested in Refugee Health, Mental Health, preventive care and Chronic disease management.
Anita has completed her advanced certificate in medicinal cannabis ( health cert ). Plant based medicine has emerging evidence in treating a wide range of chronic conditions which has not responded to conventional treatments .
