Dr Michelle Lui completed her undergraduate medical course at Monash University. She went on to complete her advanced training in Endocrinology and Diabetes through Monash Health (formerly Southern Health) while also undertaking clinical research in the areas of Type 2 diabetes and Chronic Kidney Disease. She has worked as an endocrinologist at Monash Health for a number of years and continues her involvement in their diabetes outpatient clinics. She maintains a broad interest in all areas of endocrinology and welcomes referrals in thyroid, adrenal, pituitary, osteoporosis, PCOS and all types of diabetes management

DR JO ANN CHOW
GERITRICIAN, GENERAL & PERIOPERATIVE PHYSICIAN
Dr Jo Ann Chow is a consultant Geriatrician, General Physician and Peri-operative physician.Dr Chow graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2006 and completed advance training in geriatric medicine at Monash Health. She also has further training in the areas of general medicine and oncology at Eastern Health and Cabrini. She became a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physician in 2019 and holds a Clinical Diploma in Palliative Care Medicine. Her areas of interest are general geriatrics, acute medicine and perioperative care.
Jo Ann is happy to see perioperative patients in her rooms for work up and perioperative care as well geriatric patients for cognitive assessment, falls, frailty and other geriatric issues.
Dr Chow has admitting privileges at Mulgrave Private Hospital for direct acute medical admissions, geriatric and perioperative referrals.
DR KATHLEEN KAN
NEPHROLOGIST

Dr Kathleen Kan graduated from Monash University in 1995 and underwent training in nephrology at the Austin Health and Monash Medical Centre. She completed her training in nephrology in 2003. She subsequently spent 2 years at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the Austin Health which specialises in investigation and management of patients with blood pressure disorders.
Dr Kathleen Kan has an interest in the management of chronic kidney disease because of the continuity of patient care from the time of diagnosis until dialysis or transplantation. Regular specialist monitoring of renal function and intervention has been shown to help delay the progression of renal failure.
Dr Kathleen Kan currently works as a renal and internal medicine physician at Box Hill Hospital. She also has appointments at Holmesglen Private Hospital, Linacre Private Hospital and Cabrini Brighton.

DR PEI RONG

Dr Pei Rong completed her core geriatric training at Monash Health. She then undertook a Diploma in Palliative Care Medicine at Mercy Health. She has a special interest in blood pressure control, falls and balance, polypharmacy, and dementia.
